City residents may discard large, bulky
and excess items. Appliances and tires require a tag that
can be purchased at City Hall. Appliance tags are $12 and tire tags are $5
for care tires, $7 for trucks, $15 for tractor tires.
UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS: yard waste, daily garbage, rocks, concrete, building construction materials, shingles, fencing, motoroil, liquids, explolsives, propane tanks, batteries, fire extinguishers, asbestos, paint, and chemicals.
Acceptable appliances (tab required) include: washers, dryers, hot water heaters, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, furnaces, air conditioners, chillers, and microwaves.
Gas powered equipment must be drained of fuel and oil.
TVs, computer monitors, towers and printers WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Any thing left at the curb is the owner's responsibility to dispose of. If you have questions, contact city hall at 933-4482.
Please be courteous and do not place items out more than a few days in advance.
