The school district consists of the towns of Strawberry Point, Arlington, and Lamont. The school population ranges between 950 and 1000 students.

Starmont is in the boundaries of the Keystone Area Education Agency located in Elkader. The AEA provides a number of educational services to the district, in an effort to assist in meeting the needs of our students.
